The glowing reviews really do do this album justice. It's stunning. Musically literate and adventurous. And get this - jazz funk groove on a prog rock album. The drummer in me was ready to go "oh dear, programmed drums" and on a couple of tracks I did think "Hm, could do with a better drum track" but creditable work by Dave Smith for the most part. Thanks to terrapin station for the find, by the way!

Every time I think I’ve uncovered all the hidden gems I find another one, this is fine music. This band has two other more recent releases not available on Bandcamp, also amazing. Kind of a mix of genres with the post rock backbone I enjoy so much, very talented!
